News Overview
Oma HelpingHands Foundation proudly celebrates its first anniversary, marking one year of compassion in action.
Since its inception in 2024, the Foundation has carried out life-changing projects across villages in Nigeria—bringing relief to families in crisis, installing clean water systems, and keeping children in school through education assistance.
While much has been accomplished, the team acknowledges that the journey is only beginning and that the need ahead remains immense.
Milestones Achieved in the First Year
In just twelve months, Oma HelpingHands Foundation:
▪ Organized an Emergency Relief Outreach in Benue State, delivering food and household essentials to displaced families.
▪ Sponsored students’ school fees, helping children remain in class and continue their education.
▪ Empowered women through free makeup and gele training programs that created new income opportunities.
▪ Provided small business tools, including equipment for artisans and local entrepreneurs.
▪Launched the Iyegwu Solar-Powered Water Project in Kogi State, bringing clean and sustainable water access to hundreds of families.
Each initiative directly addressed poverty, unemployment, and lack of basic services—restoring dignity and hope where it was needed most.
Message of Gratitude
The Foundation’s leadership expressed deep appreciation to donors, volunteers, and prayer supporters whose faith and generosity made these milestones possible.
“Every helping hand heals a heart,” the team shared. “Thank you for making year one possible. We are just getting started.”
Their message of gratitude reflects the organization’s spirit: compassionate, transparent, and devoted to transforming lives through service.
Looking Ahead
As Oma HelpingHands Foundation enters its second year, it plans to:
▪ Expand empowerment programs to reach more individuals and youth.
▪ Deepen U.S. donor engagement through its Texas-based chapter.
▪ Increase transparency and reporting, sharing more detailed updates on impact and financial accountability.
With faith and continued support, the Foundation aims to strengthen its bridge between donors in the U.S. and communities in Nigeria—ensuring that compassion continues to turn into measurable impact.
